Legal and administrative
Start with the basics: a VFT registration, an energy label, community consent and a set-up SES Hospedajes guest registration. Arrange insurance that covers tourist renting and find a gestor for your tax return.
Without these steps you may not legally advertise.
Practical and presentation
Install a smart lock and stable wifi, and lay out your safety equipment (smoke alarm, fire extinguisher, first-aid kit, complaint forms). Take professional photos in daylight, write an honest listing and set up your digital guidebook and automated messages.
Do a test check-in as if you were the guest to find gaps.
Frequently asked questions
- What should I arrange first?
- Permitability: VFT, community consent and energy label. Without that base you cannot rent legally.
- How long does setup take?
- Allow a few weeks, mainly due to the lead time of registrations and the energy label.
- Can I set it all up remotely?
- Much of it yes, but for installation and registrations local help is handy.
